Rutland Arena

Nice local arena. Home of the Kelowna Chiefs Ice Hockey Club. I attended their game a week ago. Good fast hockey. I quite enjoyed the experience. There is kitchen type food and alcohol beverages available. Cheap admission as well, $10.

We came here to skate. All of us had fun here. Lot of families and kids were here to enjoy skating. Ticket is 4.75 dollars each. The facility is clean and adequate. Would recommend to friends to check them out.

First time there, even though I've lived in Kelowna for 30 years. Watched some good hockey, decent facility, bright, loud and exciting. Nice the Chiefs won in OT.

We came up for a tournament. Rutland Arena is an above average rink for most we go to with our son’s team. There is skate sharpening on site. The cafeteria is well above average for a rink. Breakfast sandwich was good and the egg was fried on the grill when we ordered it instead of prepackaged and microwaved which was a pleasant surprise. The east arena is home to a junior B team so there are backless bleaches there with several rows. Not much heat on this one though. The west arena is much more limited seating with just a row or two for each team but the heaters were better there. Dressing rooms were good. Lots of parking, even mid tournament.

I want to specifically direct my appreciation and rating to the kind person working in the skate shop department. My kiddo was playing in the Ringette Sweetheart tournament recently and had her skate blade compromised while she was playing. Not only was the person waiting in line before me happy to allow me to go in front of them after I explained the challenge I was facing, the skate tech allowed me a free skate sharpening on the house so I could take it back to my kid who was on the ice in a tournament waiting to play. Can't thank both of those kind souls enough for helping me out in that moment. I will surely pass this kindness onwards. Thankyou!

Great venue for small ice events. 1 large rink with lots of bleacher seating and 1 other rink attached to main building with smaller area for viewing games. Home of the Kelowna Chiefs BCHL Hockey team. Overhead heating for people watching from the bleachers.

I love watching my grandson play hockey in the middle of summer. Brings back memories of when his father did the same thing, with his younger brother!
